FAQ
Does Seb need physical access to my hardware?+
Seb can build in the cloud but needs access to your hardware to be able to connect to your bench to flash, validate, and sense.
Which languages and standards does it generate?+
Primarily C/C++ for embedded targets, MISRA-compliant, with cert evidence for DO-178C / ISO 26262 / IEC 62304.
How is my IP protected?+
On-prem / air-gapped deployment is available, and your designs are never used to train shared models.
What's the difference between Hideout and Seb?+
Hideout is the cloud platform — a management plane where you spin up autonomous agent sessions, run them in parallel, and review their work. Seb is the underlying coding agent, available both inside Hideout and as a terminal-native CLI.
How do I get started?+
Sign up for Hideout, connect your repo and target, and kick off your first Seb session.
How does this work with MISRA / CERT / AUTOSAR?+
Generations are rule-tagged. When a deviation is necessary, the model produces a documented rationale your QA lead can accept, modify, or reject inside the PR.
Is my firmware source code used to train your models?+
No. Private code is never used for training. Ingestion runs in a tenant-isolated environment; Teams and Enterprise customers can deploy to their own VPC or on-prem.
Who owns the generated code?+
You do. Full IP assignment. Nothing about your project is retained server-side beyond what's needed for your own audit trail.
Where can I find the full Terms?+
Our full Terms + Policies are available at rootaccess.ai/terms.
